Take tree branches, spray-paint them black, and insert them into a pumpkin. Adorn the branches with tiny black birds made from stiff black paper.
To welcome guests and trick-or-treaters at your front door, make a scarecrow. For the head, a lightweight ball will work if you cradle it in the shirt. A big hat will hide a good amount of the ball. Take old clothes (pants, shirts, shoes) and stuff them. You can use gloves for hands. Place the scarecrow on a chair outside your door and you have a greeter for your guests.
Get a bottle of red glass paint from the hobby store. Put some of the paint on your hands and make bloody handprints on the window or sliding glass door. Drip a window or a sliding glass door with some of the paint to make it look like dripping blood.
Cheap budgets still allow for a great Halloween parties too. It just takes more creativity. Numerous decoration and party ideas can be found online or inspiration could be found at any local party store, grocery store or even online shopping with Halloween decorations sales. Da10000vid
